What is QEEG?
QEEG, or Quantitative Electroencephalography, is a brain-mapping tool that measures and analyzes your brain’s electrical activity. It’s a non-invasive, painless test that uses electrodes on the scalp to record brainwaves, helping us see how different parts of your brain are working. A QEEG gives us a detailed picture of how your brain functions so we can better understand things like focus, mood, sleep, or stress in order to create targeted, effective treatment plans.
Neurotherapy
Neurotherapy is a cutting-edge and evolving treatment approach that’s gaining traction across a wide range of conditions from anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and ASD. Backed by growing clinical research, it’s proving to be an effective, non-invasive way to support brain-based healing and performance.
Neurotherapy focuses on understanding and optimizing brainwave activity. Brainwaves are measured in Hertz (Hz), or cycles per second, and different frequencies are linked to various mental states, cognitive functions, and regions of the brain. From the slowest to the fastest, each brainwave band plays a unique role in how we think, feel, and function.
Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (pEMF)
This form of neurostimulation gently delivers extremely low-intensity magnetic energy to the brain. Research increasingly shows that the brain has a natural tendency to mirror the patterns it encounters. So, if someone is lacking in a specific brainwave frequency, we can introduce that frequency to help guide the brain toward a more balanced and optimal state, supporting improved mental clarity, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
Transcranial direct/alternating and random noise stimulation (tDCS/tACS/tRNS)
This type of neurostimulation uses very low-intensity electrical energy, delivered between two points on the scalp. The stimulation can take different forms, direct current (tDCS), alternating current (tACS), or random noise stimulation (tRNS), each tailored to support different therapeutic goals. Most people feel a mild tingling or tapping sensation for the first few minutes, similar to a light flick on the skin, which usually fades as the skin adjusts. It’s a safe, non-invasive technique designed to gently encourage healthier brain activity.
Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback, or EEG-guided biofeedback, is a drug-free, non-invasive brain training method that helps improve brain functions by giving your brain real-time feedback through visuals and sound, often while you watch a movie, as it learns to shift into healthier patterns. This can lead to noticeable improvements in focus, anxiety, sleep, mood, and overall mental clarity. Ideal for adults and children alike, neurofeedback offers a personalized, science-backed approach to feeling and functioning better.
